What does “denier” mean, and how do I choose the right one?
Denier is a unit of measuring the density of fibers. Generally, the higher the denier, the more opaque the tights. Currently, our tights are available in two deniers: 20 and 50. Our 20 denier tights are stylishly sheer and lightweight while our 50s are slightly warmer and halfway between sheer and opaque (i.e., the best of both fabric worlds).
What waistband options do you offer?

Are your tights gender-neutral and unisex?
Yes, 100%. We craft our tights with comfort and fashion in mind for all people. We want you to feel fiercely and unapologetically yourself in our tights. By using 3D-knit technology and the finest Italian (recycled) threads, we’ve been able to create seam-free tights with 360-degree stretch and incredible strength that effortlessly adapt to any body shape and size. These seamless tights also feature a wide, buttery-soft, body-loving waistband that you can actually breathe in. We make our tights for everyone, and from what we’ve heard, everyone loves them. Les Belles stands for self-love, self-expression and the freedom to just be. We are, and always will be, gender and body inclusive.
Can I wear your tights during pregnancy?
You can! Although they’re not officially maternity tights, they’re available in sizes XS to 3XL and designed to be body-inclusive.
Can I buy your tights without subscribing?
How do I wash my tights?
Hand wash or machine wash them cold in a tights-friendly lingerie bag. And hang them up to dry. No bleach, ironing or dry cleaning, please.
Are your tights vegan?
Yes! Our products are 100% vegan. The dyes, yarns and other products used during the manufacturing process do not contain any animal ingredients and are not tested on animals.
Where are your tights made?
Italy! Gelato’s birthplace has been at the forefront of hosiery innovation and creation for hundreds of years, and that’s why we decided to manufacture our tights there. After much research, we found the most environmentally friendly and socially responsible factory to work with. Powered by renewable energy (sun, water and wind), it’s emissionless and zero-waste. It also conserves, cleans and reuses water, and never uses hazardous chemicals, heavy metals or animal products. Fully certified for its commitment to environmental sustainability, ethical material sourcing, and safe and fair working conditions, it’s seriously the best in the biz.
What forms of payment do you currently offer?
We currently accept Visa, MaterCard, American Express, PayPal and Google Pay.
Can I choose the currency I pay in?
We currently process payments in US dollars. If you are ordering from a country with a different currency, your order will be converted in US dollars on the purchase day.
When will my card be processed?
Your card will be processed as soon as the order has been accepted and confirmed.
How does a Gift Card work?
A digital Gift Card is emailed to you (the person who placed the purchase). The Gift Card contains a unique code redeemable only on our website. Then it’s up to you how and when you share the Gift Card with the lucky recipient.
What are a Gift Card’s terms and conditions?
It is valid for 12 months. It cannot be redeemed for cash or cash equivalent. It cannot be used with any promotions (discount codes) or used to purchase another Gift Card.
How do I add a discount code to my order?
If we offer a temporary discount code, and you wish to use it while shopping, just continue to checkout. There will be an option to add a Gift Card or discount code above your subtotal. Just remember to use lower- or upper-case letters according to the discount code you have received. We offer free USA shipping on all subscriptions and orders above $60.
We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders above $110.
For smaller orders, the shipping fees vary and are indicated at checkout.

Can I have my tights delivered every 2 or 3 months instead of every month? Is it possible to skip a month?
Once you’ve created an Account Page, it’s easy to manage your subscription. You can make delivery changes at any time. If you need help, please email us at email@example.com, and we’ll adjust it for you.
Can I change the number of pairs I receive? What about styles and colors?
You can change the amount as well as the styles and colors you receive at any time on your Account Page. If you’re having trouble, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re here to help!
How can I check my order or manage my subscription?

How long will my order take to arrive?
Box shipments are determined based on your original sign-up date and how frequently you wish to have products delivered. Boxes typically arrive within 5-10 business days. You can track shipments on your Account Page.
When will my credit card be charged?
For subscription orders, all recurring charges are determined by your original sign-up date and how frequently you wish to have tights delivered.
Can I change my method of payment

5) Returns and Refunds
What is the return policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of receipt, and we will sort things out right away.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us at email@example.com ASAP if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
How is your factory zero-waste?
Our manufacturer continually invests in sustainable solutions and works systematically to reduce its environmental footprint by purifying all wastewater from production, applying systems for responsible management of energy and water consumption and specializing in the use of sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Furthermore, our dyeing facilities filter and clean all wastewater from the dyeing process. The water is monitored and re-used for production or for watering of fields and other municipal needs. All the powder colorants used are cleaned along with the fumes from the drying process. This means that no polluting elements end up in the atmosphere.
How is recycled nylon made?
The recycled nylon we use is made from waste materials coming from our supplier’s main production cycle. These materials could not have been reused in any other way and would have otherwise been disposed of as external waste. The process is a mechanical regeneration system which does not involve the use of chemical materials, since that would detract from the sustainability of the end product. The recycling process involves cleaning, shredding and melting the collected material. After that they return to our supplier in the form of a polymer which is then further processed from fiber extraction to spinning the new, recycled yarns.
How is your packaging more sustainable?
Our packaging does not contain any plastic. Whenever we have to use a bigger outside mailer, these are 100% compostable. Our paper and cardboard come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
How do I responsibly dispose of the packaging?
The packaging can be used to upcycle any of your tights with the Upcycling Program. See below for more details.
Do you only upcycle tights, and what kinds do you accept?
We accept absolutely all kinds of tights and socks from any brand.
How can I participate in the Upcycling Program?
